Economics I can understand, and I'm heading outta town
Dear readers,
First: anything having to do with finance — its history, philosophy, or practice — has always left me stone-cold, even though I know how essential it is to explain just about every system on earth.
Recently, I was thankful to take in the 30-minute interview
did with economist and author Kevin Freeman, in which he explains money in terms even I can understand. You can watch the interview or read the transcript:Second: I’m heading to Peru soon for about 10 days, to keep my own light shining bright. (God knows what the world will look like by the time I return, but I’ll be ready for it.)

I hope you enjoy your time away - a recharge is so important.
I also fear the complete collapse of the world's monetary (economic) system. It's difficult for me to fathom how the current system can be sustainable for much longer. These are undoubtedly troubled times...a time when it becomes even more valuable to remember how love and kindness always triumph over hate...
