Anyone who took the time to read THE SATANIC VERSES can recognize Rushdie's meandering and meaningless attempts to express himself.

Of course, that inability to write clearly did not prevent Muslims from trying to kill him for decades.

Obama taught us how useless and stupid awards are. Just like the Emmys and the Oscars, the Nobel Peace Price is given to the winner of a popularity contest and Rushdie is given rewards out of pity.
