Aldo Leopold's "A Sand County Almanac", musings on the value of wilderness and things that can't be commodified, one of the few, dog-eared paperbacks I brought with me when I moved to Japan some 40 years ago. Glad to see it is now in Kindle form, and I am glad you introduced us to this essay.
