Oh...how I love this tale! I see an interesting commentary on the state of living together in a politics-driven world... Or is it a commentary on global warming? Wait, maybe it's something else entirely - could it be two inmates speaking about their existence in prison? Or is it merely a tale of two frogs...family members who are growing tired of each other and want a new reality? I could easily think about this story for the next hour...I think I will!
Jack, thank you so much for your thoughts! I LOVE that you've laid out all these possible interpretations. It helps me know that my intentions were fulfilled in writing it! I'm happy to create work that crosses boundaries and builds consensus, as it were, rather than separating and polarizing. If two people on opposite sides of the fence believe I've written it directly for them, then perhaps they might be able to see the other side more readily?

Wow! This is genius, Mary, and hilarious, but like Jack, I think I will have to think about it for a while longer myself. As he mentioned, it could apply to any number of situations in which we find ourselves at this point in time. I think this is a sign of a Great Truth that you've spoken here, something that is held everywhere, always and by all. Great job!
I so appreciate your quick feedback! I was unsure whether to take hold of the idea when it presented itself, but after writing Trapeze, how could I not? :-) Your praise is high indeed. Thank you, Rocket.

Mary I love this
I had my 10 year old listen to it and as we ponder how it relates to many things....a young mind has been exposed to critical thinking 💕
I'm so happy to hear this, Deb. Thanks for letting me know!
Mary this is wonderful! Just discovered it browsing your archive...
It made me smile and chuckle throughout, while reinforcing such a deadly serious message / metaphor!
(Am I still a tough crowd??)
Thanks, friend! It was so fun for me to return to drama, my first love. :-)
And NO, you're not. I'm just busting your chops!!
That's so American ;-)
...and I can really hear the love of that dramatic work, and the talent for it - in both of you.
Wonderful!
Perfect!
